What color negative film characterizations are available in ColorPerfect's ColorNeg mode?

In ColorPerfect's ColorNeg mode you will find more than 310 color negative characterizations for film types from Kodak, Fuji, Agfa, Konica, Ferrania, Rollei and China Lucky. For high precision work there is the FilmType / SubType / FilmGamma calibration system to establish your own film type characterizations and to fine tune built in ones to your films' specific development.

The built-in characterizations are derived from data published by negative film manufacturers. If you are missing a specific film for which you have a datasheet with the film type's characteristic curves, we would appreciate it if you could send us a scan of that datasheet or the corresponding PDF file to info(at)ColorPerfect.com.

Our film names sometimes use square brackets [...] to denote codes that should be imprinted on the edge of the actual negatives. This addition is only necessary when the film name cannot be derived directly from the information on the negative strips, or when there are several types of film with the same name but of different generations. Agfa, for example, often used plain text names, e.g. "AGFA VISTA 100", while Kodak mostly used codes that are only sometimes related to the film name, such as the code "PJ100" for the Kodak Ektapress PJ100. Curly brackets {...} specify information that refers to parameters that are usually not readable from the negative strip, but must be known to you. For example, sometimes there are additional labels for special development conditions like Push 1 or Push 2. Another criterion can be the date of the film's launch. In 2008, Kodak introduced new Portra films, but kept the original film names and codes. In addition, the Kodak Ektar brand name was reintroduced. These films are marked with {2008}.
